Tomato & Mozzarella Salad With Basil & Honey Recipe

Bursting with colour and imagination, try our tomato and basil salad with a honey glaze for light and refreshing meal salad that’s packed with flavour.


  • 1 Handful of Cherry Tomatoes (or 1/2 punnet)
  • 5 Basil Leaves
  • 7-8 Mozzarella Pearls (60g) (or half a torn mozzarella ball)
  • 1 handful of Florette Duo Salad
  • Glaze:
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 handful of Strawberries (tops removed and chopped in half – 1/4 punnet)
  • Dressing:
  • 1 tsp Balsamic Vinegar,
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 3 tsp Rapeseed Oil


  1. Reduce equal quantities of honey and balsamic over a low heat until syrupy to make a glaze
  2. Chop the strawberries in half and cover with the syrup for a few minutes
  3. Mix 1 part balsamic vinegar and honey with 3 parts rapeseed oil to make the dressing. Set aside and prepare the rest of your salad
  4. Chop the tomatoes in half
  5. Pick basil leaves and roughly tear
  6. Combine the leaves with the mozzarella, basil and tomatoes and dress on a plate with the strawberries dotted over the top
