Vitality Tuna Steak Salad with Broccoli

Ingredients

  • Florette Classic Crispy Salad
  • 50g Broccoli (cut into florets)
  • Red cabbage (shredded)
  • Fennel (trimmed and finely sliced)
  • Sunflower Seeds
  • 1 Lemon (zest & juice)
  • Extra-virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Tuna Steak

Directions

  1. Put the broccoli into a heatproof bowl with 2 tablespoons of water. Cover it with cling film and pierce several times and microwave on high for 3 minutes.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan and dry-fry the 2tbsp seeds for a few minutes, turning as needed. Add the lemon juice, zest and 3 tbsp olive oil to the pan and whisk to combine and warm through.
  3. Add a little oil to a non stick pan and sear the tuna-two minutes on one side and then one minute on the other.
  4. Arrange the cabbage, fennel and salad on two serving plates.
  5. Top the crunchy salad leaves with the tuna, then add the broccoli and drizzle over the warm dressing. Season with freshly ground black pepper to taste and serve.
